Vita House Family Centre, RoscommonVita House provides a range of therapeutic, supportive and educational services to the community. We are interested in issues of equality, social justice as well as combating disadvantage. We provide individual, couple, family therapy as well as different support and therapeutic group processes.

A team of professional staff carries out these services, some outside professionals and a number of trained volunteers. Volunteers are trained and organised in teams to deliver programmes such as, Parenting, Assertiveness, Stress Management, Bereavement Support Groups for different losses, etc.

Seminars and workshops on many family issues are held throughout the year. A one year N.U.I.M certificate course in psychology is offered at a reduced fee and availed of by many educationally disadvantaged/early school leavers giving them an opportunity to gain a third level qualification.
